Elementary Band & Orchestra Programs

Ms. Sarantos started on piano in 2nd grade, which gave her a great musical foundation. When she started learning the violin in school at 10  years old, she fell in love.

She completed Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. From 2012-2018, she taught elementary and middle school orchestra in North Carolina.

From 2018-2022, she taught elementary school general music in Adams County, Colorado. In 2023, she decided to focus on online private lessons. She began teaching elementary orchestra again in 2025. Throughout her career, she has taught private violin,  viola, and piano lessons to students of all ages. She has also consistently performed as a soloist and in small and large orchestra ensembles.

She is excited to serve as an administrator and scholarship coordinator in the Douglas Orchestra Youth Orchestra elementary program this year!
