Elementary Band & Orchestra Programs

Mr. Sale is a percussionist, educator, and performer based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder and has been teaching music throughout the Denver metro area since 2019.

Mr. Sale currently serves as the general music teacher at Bear Canyon Elementary, where he teaches students in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition to general music, he founded and directs the school's extracurricular choir program, providing students with opportunities to develop their musicianship, confidence, and love of performing through collaborative ensemble experiences. His teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity, musical excellence, and the fostering of an environment where every student feels encouraged to grow.

Outside of the elementary classroom, Mr.  Sale has taught percussion ensembles, concert bands, and other music programs throughout the Denver metro area, working with students of a wide range of ages and experience levels. He is passionate about helping young musicians build strong fundamentals while inspiring a lifelong appreciation for music.

As a professional percussionist, Mr. Sale performs with the drumlines for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche,  and Denver Broncos. His active performance career allows him to bring real-world musical experience, energy, and professionalism into every rehearsal and classroom.

Mr. Sale is excited to join the Douglas County Youth Orchestra as the elementary band instructor at BCE and looks forward to helping young musicians develop their skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for making music together.
