Dian Petersen

Ms. Petersen has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in Creative Arts in Education from Lesley University. 

She has taught private violin, viola, and cello lessons for thirty years and recently retired from Northeast and Mountain View Elementary Schools, where she taught General Music, Orchestra, and Choir for 23 years.

Her passions are playing the viola and performing with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra. When not working with wonderful students, Ms. Petersen loves to spend time in the mountains and traveling with her husband and her two grown children.
