Elementary Band & Orchestra Programs

Darian  Freeman serves as the principal trombone of the Denver Philharmonic and the San Juan Symphony down in Durango, CO. He is also an in-demand freelance trombonist. He has played with not only professional orchestras in Colorado, but around the country as well.

Darian also spends a lot of his time teaching music. He teaches privately at music schools in the Denver area and works part-time as a beginning band director for before- and after-school band programs in the Douglas County School District, where kids begin on their instruments for the first time and perform 3-4 concerts per year.

When not teaching and performing, Darian enjoys staying active by running and spending time with his wife, Devon, and dog, Meeko. They are both excited to welcome their first child in February 2027!
