Elementary Band & Orchestra Programs

Mr.  Cacek first started his music journey in the 6th grade on the saxophone and quickly became enamored. Mr. Cacek decided he wanted to be a music teacher after loving his experience being a section leader for Smoky  Hill High School's Hill Regiment Marching Band.

Mr.  Cacek received his Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from the  University of Northern Colorado in 2025.  In addition to his duties with  DCEIM, he teaches private lessons for both band and orchestra instruments, and is the K-5 Music Teacher for Eugene Field Elementary School in Littleton.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Cacek enjoys rock climbing, hiking, board games,  the Avs, and going to the movies! He loves spending time with his friends, family, cat, and dog.
