Q: What does my student need for each class?
A: Every class period students should have the following materials.InstrumentInstrument AccessoriesBrass - valve oil and tuning slide greaseWoodwinds - extra reeds (clarinet & saxophone) & cleaning swab (a handkerchief will do)Percussion - sticks (snare & bells), standsViolin / Viola - shoulder rest or sponge, rosin and a soft clothCello / Bass - rock stop or cello board, rosin and a soft clothLesson Book / Sheet MusicA PencilMusic Stand (only if school does not provide)
